One of Stahl's greatest honors was to be able to complete the painting of the USS San Jacinto, CVL-30, which now hangs in the Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, Texas. As seen in this photograph taken at the USS San Jacinto reunion held at the library in April, 1998, Mr. Stahl is presenting President Bush with the #1 remarque of the lithograph for his personal collection.
